Training components
This program provides valuable training and hands-on experience in the field of consumer lending. Upon completion of the internship, you will have a good understanding of what it takes to be a branch manager. You may also be offered full-time employment.
As a Branch Management Intern, you will gain valuable experience in key aspects of branch operations, including:
- Sales skills and business development
- Loan applications and processing
- Risk analysis and credit decisions
- Loan closings and customer service
- Perform collections/adjustment activities
Applicants for the branch management internship should have:
- Completed junior year of college and are actively enrolled
- Be pursuing a business-related degree
- An outgoing personality and competitive nature
- Full-time availability during summer months (If applicable)
- Be able to work 16 to 20 hours per week during the school year
- Flexible scheduling to allow exposure to all aspects of branch management
- Ability to alternate among nearby branches
